jonhall
The January issue of LRR dropped though my door today. Whilst leafing through it one thing caught my eye, a plea from the publisher. Apparently 20% of the print run was sent to Ian Allan at Waterloo to be sold on a casual basis, but since the closure of the shop in Lower Marsh, only a couple of dozen people have become subscribers, the publisher asks his readers to remind their acquaintances who may have bought copies over the counter, to consider taking up a subscription. Equally they indicate that the LT Museum shop at Covent Garden has indicated that they would take more copies if the demand was there. https://www.londonrailwayrecord.co.uk/ Its a pretty niche publication, and sometimes several issues pass between articles that I am interested in, but I support it because the articles are usually informative, and well researched. RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted January 4, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 4, 2021 I've been getting this for over 10 years now. A good little read. Curr subscription is just £17.58 (for UK, in ordinary enevlope) for 4 issues. Well worth supporting IMHO.
