London Railway Record Magazine after the closure of Ian Allan Waterloo

The January issue of LRR dropped though my door today. Whilst leafing through it one thing caught my eye, a plea from the publisher.

Apparently 20% of the print run was sent to Ian Allan at Waterloo to be sold on a casual basis, but since the closure of the shop in Lower Marsh, only a couple of dozen people have become subscribers, the publisher asks his readers to remind their acquaintances who may have bought copies over the counter, to consider taking up a subscription. Equally they indicate that the LT Museum shop at Covent Garden has indicated that they would take more copies if the demand was there.

Its a pretty niche publication, and sometimes several issues pass between articles that I am interested in, but I support it because the articles are usually informative, and well researched.
