Scrap Yard Rubbish

Well, here we go again, been waiting for this for over a year. I thought that if we are to use rubbish then I would make a rubbish diorama. 

As I usually model in N Gauge then all my OO stuff is rubbish, I used to help another man model his OO Railway, he has passed away and I have all this stuff left, so I consider it waste?? 

I have some track, a couple of wagons and a load of offcuts of foam board and Scalescenes files of OO gauge buildings, so off I go.

I will model a scrap yard with a couple of wagons with scrap loads, (sardine tin lid cut up) and also all my other offcuts and leftovers of plastic model kits.

I will post pictures when I get started on building the diorama.

First pictures, I have collected the offcut of MDF, the scrap sardine tin lid (cut up and stuck to a piece of card as a load) bits of track and some kits.

 

 

 

Track is placed in position to see how much room I have.

Finally got around to doing some work on the scrapyard

Built the yard crane and installed some ground pipes

with the grounded coach in place the pipes disappear under, must be water or waste, who knows

now to paint the coach and then dirty them up

Bit of Dirty work done, the crane painted and rusted. still have to add chain and hook with magnet to unload wagons

Grounded coach grounded and dirtied, must rust up the sardine can and Mr Aldridge Wainwright Day's Wagon

 

also must find a few workers
