Chinese railway stopped by out of date software

I have just seen a story about a Chinese railway being forced to stop services because they used Flash as software to run the railway. When Flash was stopped a week or so ago the railway could not run.

Interesting story - even I knew Flash was on the skids and believe me my ear is nowhere near the ground on things like this, so how on earth they missed the three-year-plus warning when their whole operation depended on it is baffling!

Probably a pirate copy so they didn't get the updates/warnings :)

Did you read the article? They got the railway running again by installing a pirate version!
