RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted October 2, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 2, 2021 For those of you who wondered about the "phantom" Bradley Manor release (unfortunate slip of a finger on a mouse when we launched the Manor) well, there's your answer! RMweb Gold Phil Bullock Posted October 2, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 2, 2021 Got to hold this beauty today - Thanks Paul A very heavy feel to the model bodes well for haulage capabilities and it certainly looks like a Manor! 7 2

CoombeTown
I have to agree with others posting above. Having held the actual model at GETS, there is a good weight to it, so should be some good haulage power. The level of detail into the casting is also fantastic, very excited to see this out on layouts. Here’s hoping for some of the Cornish allocation in Batch 2! 2

All the times I saw 7802 out on the main line in preservation, it was running with a 4000 gallon tender. The one pictured matches its partner on the SVR last time I was up there. John Tender as modelled is correct for BR in 1960s and also periods of SVR running. 4000 gallon tender would be correct for main line running in preservation era and also periods of SVR running. 1 2

Thanks, for what I'd want it for the tender isn't that important as I'd mostly use it on my planned preserved line so would be a guest for a gala/on loan/whatever.
Brocp
That looks fantastic. Now Accurascale, can you please hurry up and announce a Black 5 5 2 1
Vacuum
This threatens to be the benchmark of benchmarks for an OO gauge steam loco but still plenty of scope for trip ups such as the quality of the motor and paintwork. I'm confident Accurascale will not disappoint us in these respects however. If nothing else these photos confirm my impression that the downward slope of the top of the firebox of the Dapol model is too pronounced (lights blue touch paper and retires). 1
9402 Fredrick
The item is now showing up, but only the sound fitted version and it's saying out of stock, I hope I didn't miss my chance to pre-order 7802 to go with 7812. Same here - looking at the article it said there were only 350 being produced, so yes these will all have sold out now. Gutted about that, as this was the exact specification / allocation that I was looking for and hoping would be produced. Just a shame that it’s the one produced in such a limited number. The loco has also run in preservation at various lines with the smaller tender, and if you read the Accurascale details it says the model will be released in 1960s condition, which is before she went to Barry and before she acquired the 4000g tender. The problem I have now is which one to choose. I can only really afford one and I want it in late crest BR green. 7802 looks really tempting but with a non sound run of only 250 it will sell out really quickly. RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted October 5, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 5, 2021 Hi everyone, To be honest I doubt this model is sold out already or anywhere near. I think this is moreso to do with their website. If you really want one I would email Key and I'm sure they will sort you out. Cheers! Fran
SteamingWales
I think it is a website issue. I'll be honest I've been watching the website like a hawk and the DCC and Sound versions appeared for about 5 minutes yesterday afternoon with colour images etc. and then disappeared again

When Bradley comes back it will have a smaller tender, a shame in some ways as with the 4000 gallon tender you stay a bit warmer and dryer in inclement weather, lol.

Adrock
The images on the KeyPublishing website appears to show a shed code plate of 89A…is that correct? I can’t quite see that the records on BR Database match with this, as Shrewsbury was 6F by the time Bradley was allocated there. And she wasn’t at Oswestry during this period when Oswestry was 89A. I could of course be completely wrong! I would have thought an 89C for Mcy would have been the sweet spot for this loco in this condition as it was there until the end of 62.
