how early? I do some WCER Wright and Son coached 1870's which were split between the LNWR and Furness when they took over the line.  Not sure how long they lasted as LNWR stock but the Furness ones were still on their wheels in 1924/5

The chassis for the 18inch goods is moving forward with the horn blocks done and the coupling rods jointed. It Actually rolls freely. The coupling rods are the ones supplied with the kit, and are etched. The layers being soldered together and then filed smooth to hide the layers.

The Cauliflower is making progress, I dont mind doing the chassis they always seem to work ok, but the top half............. 

The fire box sides have been sorted and the smoke box etches. It runs really nicely. 

Yes that is a cocktail stick holding up the running plate
