Thanks so much...we are getting somewhere. Someone on another post said that you couldn't do this through my home Wi-Fi, so I hadn't tried it. Anyway the Z21 App on my phone now works through my home WiFi to the DR5000....phew ;-)   But the Z21 wifi handset still doesn't connect. Its connected to the home wifi but there isn't a setting for the DR5000's IP address so not sure how its going to find it ?

Ha....I thought that was just showing the IP address of the handset, Doh. All working great now, thanks everyone for the help!!! I love the Digikeijs system and am running it with 80 Railcom detectors and Traincontroller....next is the turntable control.....

Hello!

I'm new to this forum and I've searched the internet far and wide for an answer for a problem I have that I couldn't fix. It seems I might find my fix here.

So, I have a DR5000 and I want to connect it to my home network and control my layout with my mobile devices which I want to have them connected to my home Wi-Fi. I don't want to switch to the DR5000 every time I want to run some trains.

I will attach a scheme here to illustrate what I want.

I've understood on this thread that reded23 managed to do such a thing. Can someone guide me through the set-up process for achieving such a thing?

Thanks in advance!
