Pete the Elaner
If you can't follow the diagram, I am not sure a few words will help, but I'll try. It needs an extra power supply for the 16v AC. The output from the controller goes into the pair of terminals marked 0-12v DC in. The track is connected to the terminals marked 0-12v DC out to track. Nigelcliffe
******* CAUTION *********** If you have a layout with a high frequency track cleaner, which includes Relco and the Gaugemaster HF1: DO NOT put a loco which contains a DCC decoder on the layout. You risk destroying the decoder in the loco. High frequency track cleaners are fine if locos are analogue (no decoder fitted). But with increasing numbers of DCC-fitted locos about, the chances of an error are increasing. A few locos are now DCC-fitted only (ie. there is no option without a decoder, though the loco will run on analogue layouts).
Ighten
Also remember quite a lot of DC only locos are now fitting coreless motors and they wont work either..
