Farish "Masterpieces in Miniature" Class 33

Recommended Posts

Do you want a model that looks like a class 33 with correct bogies, good motor  directional lighting... or do you want the Farish one? Here's a photo of my Dapol 33 on shed. It's a no brainer!

If it's got the older Masterpieces in Miniature branding it's likely to be relatively old, and basic in detail compared to the newer Dapol. Things like DCC compatibility or lighting are also likely to be missing.

That's looks fantastic! Apart from the weathering, any alterations?

No alterations. As others have said above the Farish is prone to split gears and motor burnouts the under frame is not at all realistic. The Dapol is DCC ready too.
