It's from this fret, although I got it many years ago from Pat Ryan when he had the churchward range This is made from three... And some 35 years later than normal not a great lot has changed. 23
MrWolf
Thanks for the link. Most models of bicycles are terrible, but you see plenty of them on layouts where the locos and stock are works of art.

RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted April 2, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 2, 2021 (edited) What a lovely layout, Paul. Really shows what can be achieved in a small space. The use and modification of a readily available building is right up this particular sheep's street. But it is the details that are bringing it all to life. Rob. RMweb Gold Popular Post Worsdell forever Posted April 2, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 2, 2021 They must have got the door open as the loco, class A No 1579, has arrived to remove the wagons, it will add it to a local passenger train and they will make their way back to Staithes.

RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted May 3, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 3, 2021 Not done a lot on here for a while, decay has started on he stop block though. Thought it was about time there was some way of running something, there will be a single cassette that will line up to any of the three sidings. The white board goes under the baseboard with the two pieces of ply holding it up into place, its fairly tight but if I'd does get loose and moves I'll drill a hole through each side to take a pin.
RMweb Gold Popular Post Worsdell forever Posted May 6, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted May 6, 2021 1333 had the honour of being the first loco to run into the yard under it's own 'steam'.

RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted May 7, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 7, 2021 A few photos of how the 2 boards fit together they're a good fit and don't seem to want to move on their own, it they get loose a simple pin through should hold them together.

JaymzHatstand
What a cracking operational diorama that is! I've been thinking about doing something similar myself, and this just adds fuel to the inspirational fire! The simplicity of a 'point-less' layout is a real bonus! It's really the small details that don't catch the eye, but would stand out a mile if they weren't there which really add to the scene (if that makes sense!) And I'm certainly looking forward to seeing more developments! Cheers J
RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted May 20, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 20, 2021 Got a bit of work done, a bit of embankment along the back. Probably be a fence running along the top, somewhere we can lean and watch the shunting going on. And a quick look along the front siding we can see plenty of wagons but no one about. 11 1
