6892 Oakhill Grange
Looks fab. I haven’t seen the real thing, but it looks so natural. Some of the photos look close to the real thing.
RMweb Gold Darius43 Posted March 27, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted March 27, 2021 Thanks. I still need to fit some 3D printed snow ploughs and replace the awful traction tyred wheels with metal ones. Cheers Darius
RMweb Gold Darius43 Posted March 31, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted March 31, 2021 Dummy couplings and snowploughs received today from eBay (Midland Valenta) and have been fitted. I also added a connecting door blanking plate using plasticard. Cheers Darius 5
cheesysmith
Do you think there is any way to hide how thick the body sides are when looking along the sides from the front, where the windows are? Maybe running a black marker around the inside edges of the window openings?

I did that with the small side windows to the cab ends as these were the only ones that were not (semi) flush glazed - applied Humbrol matt black enamel using a 000 brush. That is ok for four small windows, however, to do this properly for all of the rest, I would need to first remove the (semi) flush glazing, paint the window reveals black and then re-install the glazing. Perhaps one day... Cheers Darius Edited April 1, 2021 by Darius43
