Apart from the Oxford Diecast Field Marshall, are there other farm tractors, either 1:76 rtp or kit available?

The Oxford Diecast Fergie and Fordson are rather too modern.

Thanks

Check out Springside models, they have a large range of vintage tractors as whitemetal kits. I think Scalelink also did a prewar Fordson.

Hi,

Scalelink offer a 1931 Fordson, perfect.

Thanks

The Oxford David Brown airfield tractor is also suitable. They were based on a pre-war agricultural tractor and many were sold off to farmers after the war.

If it's the David Brown tractor I'm thinking of, our then neighbour was still using one on a daily basis in the mid-1980s, having pulled it out of a local scrapyard to replace an early Massey Ferguson he'd worn out.

Universal Hobbies produced a Model of the wartime Massey-Harris tractor, as a keyring, unfortunately it is very rare. It was very near to 1/76 scale similar to their Fordson Major model which was 1/76 scale.

Thanks, the Scalelink 1931 Fordson is perfect, its archaic appearance emphasises the fact that it is not a post-war example.
