How about modelling 'Von Zeneca's Express', where a team of plucky scientists and contracts lawyers attempt to escape the EU with a trainload of vaccines?

Too soon?

;)

Von Der Lyens Express, actually.  A hidden stash of 29 million vaccine bottles goes missing 'Somewhere in Europe'.  An all-star cast ( Nigel Farage ) leads a specialist team in search of their target.  Things go wrong when the ships pilot turns out to be a Kamikaze pilot...

Will you be doing the Suburban Sleeper in Connex livery? First DD?

That's the hi-density one where you sleep standing up, so as to squeeze as many commuters as possible into the available space?

Anyway I won't be ordering unless they also do a matching horsebox.

I think another 'generic' trick has been missed with not providing shoe brakes on the bogies.  As the coach is both air conditioned and pressure ventilated, there should be shell and/or torpedo ventilators on the roof.  The ability to traverse 9 inch radius curves would be enhanced by making the bodyshell out of less rigid material, soft rubber perhaps, which would enable tighter clearances in the 6 foot, make it safer for small children to play with and for modellers frustrated by trying to improve it to throw across the room in a temper...

I have pre-empted Accurascale with having a couple of coaches in different liveries each side, a perfectly cromulent cheat on an end to end BLT.

Sorry, they're too long to fit on my layout. Could you make them the length the Triang coaches were before they produced the scale length mark 1s (9 inches I believe).

How about Bulleid's turf-burning version of Leader to haul them?

If you don't mind me pointing out Fran, there should be a row of rivets on underframe under the inwards opening guards door. These were actually non standard rivets with star shaped heads, and hoping you can incorporate them in your production runs, simply because they are the signature mark for spotters.

Great additions to the AS range

Or O GAUGE!!!!!!!!??????????????

HO/TT/Z/T too while you are at it

Didn't Hornby do them years and years ago in 0 Gauge - shortie 4 wheelers in tinplate - and they had flush sides?  You O gauge boys really are spoilt. (Alisdair)

As the length of coaching is crucial to the minimum radii of the curves on our layouts, and as we gain experience and enlarge our space and adherence to prototype practice so having only large radii curves it would make total sense to make your coaches telescopic. I can't think why nobody thought of this before!

Once again I was nearly finished with my kitbash, and an RTR manufacturer brings it out...

Diverting very slightly from the thread, do you think you could knock up the Hugh McQuade designed saloon 80776 on the Severn Valley Railway ? I was on night shift with Hugh when he sketched out the layout of 80776 on some TOPS paper in our TOPS office. The BG 80776 was acquired and using standard Mk1 doors and windows he created

The missing link is the motive power. To fit in with the generic idea, what we need is a generic hauler, which is steam/electric/diesel/hydrogen powered and has front cab and cab between loco and tender, with both overhead electric, shoe beam, inside diesel engine and underfloor engine. So ok you guys, design that monster -oh and it must go round 2nd radius. That'll keep you busy.

Steam generated  by nuclear fuel from one of your containers.
