rogerdee
Hi guy's Simple question does anyone make replacement metal wheels for peco wagons specifically or is it a try and see with farish and Dapol wheels. What do you use?. Edited April 5, 2021 by rogerdee Charity
Wickham Green too
I generally use Alan Gibson .... but then I work in EM gauge ! Might be an idea to change the thread title to state what scale and/or gauge and/or wheel standard you're interested in !!?!
RMweb Premium PaulCheffus Posted April 5, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 5, 2021 Hi Parkside Dundas wheels now made by Peco are what I use. Cheers Apul
RMweb Premium Nile Posted April 6, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 6, 2021 Parkside and Dundas are separate now, which did you mean? I thought Peco only made plastic wheels, their metal wheels haven't appeared yet. In answer to the OP, Farish wheels will fit and work just fine. Hi When I bought mine that’s what they were called but I guess now they are just Parkside manufactured by Peco. Edit on searching it would appear they are still made by Dundas not Parkside https://www.hamodels.net/2mm/009-metal-wheels.html Cheers Paul Edited April 6, 2021 by PaulCheffus
RMweb Premium Nile Posted April 6, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 6, 2021 Those are Romford/Markits wheels, sold by Dundas. They also sell Greenwich & Mosskito wheels, Dundas don't actually make anything themselves. Dundas 009 wheels
