Steve51769
Hi, I've got an old Airfix Class 31 that needs new traction tyres (was Airfix ref. 80009-3). Usually you can find compatibles, but I can find nothing online that lists itself as compatible. Does anyone know what alternatives fit? The inside diameter is 13mm amd the groove approx 1.5mm wide. Thank in advance Steve
cypherman
Hi Steve. Take a look at the Lima traction tyres on Ebay. Peters Spares PS42 Replacement Lima L1-1505-00 Traction Tyres (Large Size) Pk10. Phone them up and ask they can tell you the size size. They may do the trick. Or you can buy Bullfrog Snot and make as many tyres as you need
33C
Ask your dentist for a pack of assorted, rubber band, teeth braces. The blue ones are perfect for all sorts of diesel tyres. Also, the brown ones are great as drive bands for Lone Star diesel drives. The grey ones (thin) can be doubled up for Lima steam traction tyres.....
