Dmudriver Posted April 10, 2021 Share Posted April 10, 2021 Hi. I've got a Digitrains sound file on a Zimo MX644 chip for a Heljan 128 v18.03. There is a double buzzer sound on F11 which I cannot get. The single buzzer is on F12 and works OK. A note I have says that the sound for the double buzzer is on CV 544 (the single buzzer is on CV 547). I've put CV 544 back to 0, then to 64 and then 128 but can't get any response. This is after a reset (CV8=8). Has anyone any thoughts as to how I might find the double buzzer sound? With thanks in advance. Rod Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dmudriver Posted April 11, 2021 Author Share Posted April 11, 2021 I've since worked out that CV544 controls the volume of the sound on F11: it does not define which sound slot (is that the right expression?) is on F11. It does not work on any of the other functions, so somewhere on the decoder there's a sound slot missing a connection to F11. That, I think, is what I am looking for. I've also got a decoder for the Class 122 and F11 (double buzzer) works correctly on that one. I've looked at F11 on both the 122 and 128 and the value is 0 on both, so that's no indication as to where the sound slot might be!! I hope Pauliebanger can help.
