MarcD
Sorry in advance for this rant One of the reasons for changing our business name from Furness Railway Wagon Co to Pre-Grouping Railways was a company that is based on Ebay, that had a very similar trading name. In the last few days I have been contacted, by a number of people, asking about second hand models on ebay being sold by "Furness Models". I would like to state that I have nothing to with this business, and never have done. Our only connection to this company is being based about 5 miles away from them. We only sell new kits, 3D printed wagon bodies and Ready to Run models built to order. Also I have been contacted, by other people, re: missing parts from second hand kits, that they have bought. If you buy one of our kits second hand from ebay, or elsewhere, and it is in complete we can supply replacement parts for our kits however there is a charge for this. We do not supply free replacement parts for second hand kits as some people seam to think. If a kit is sold cheap there is usually a reason its cheap. Nearholmer
Some interesting things there, but what scale are they?
MarcD
All are 7mm but there are some available in HO, 4mm, S and G1 1/32. As I re-tool my 7mm range I'm make them available in other scales initially as bodies but I'm also working on etched parts to make them all into full kits. If you select an individual product it will tell you what scales they are currently available in. Marc
Nearholmer
Thanks, and suits me. It might be an idea to give prominent notice to new visitors to your site that default is 7mm, but other opions exist. 1
MarcD
You can now locate all HO, 4mm, S gauge, 7mm and G1 1/32 separately from the categories on the home page as I go through and update the range most should be available in all 5 scales. MartinM
Marc I have always heard them call "dumb" buffers rather than "dead" or are both used?
MarcD
As did I until it was pointed out to me that the RCH refered to them as "Dead buffered". Who am I to argue with the RCH. Marc
