roythebus1 Posted April 19, 2021 Share Posted April 19, 2021 Many years ago I had some ABS cast buffers for a few Hornby HAA (the air braked silver coal hopper wagons) but seem to have used my stock! Does anyone else make them or are the ABS ones still available? Also are there any better buffers for the Bachmann domestic coal hopper wagons? I've just acquired 6 of those! cheesysmith Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 For the HAA you want 13" oleo. Spring versions from accurascale or cast from Lanarkshire model supplies. Will have to check what size are used in HEA, but think it is the same. If you want to check yourself, look on the barrowmore model railway club website at the BR wagon books, they tell you the size of the buffers fitted to each wagon.
