Craig1989
I’ve seen a couple of pictures recently of MEA wagons being moved about on runs. Any idea what they move these days as I believe that in the past they have moved aggregates and coal

Though the two sites are only a few miles apart, the train had to run via Swansea Burrows Yard, probably about forty or more miles.
pharrc20
They are or were using a rake of MEAs on Masborough to Cardiff Tidal flow empties recently, believed to be scrap metal flow according to info on flickr. Additional - might actually be furnace slag going to Rotherham from Cardiff. Cheers Paul Edited May 1, 2021 by pharrc20 Info
