I went to that Pembroke Dock place in a red Ford Sierrall (it was purchased in Bristol) on my way to Ireland.  It was only £18 to fly to Shannon at the time, but the Sierrall wasn't considered hand luggage so I had to get the ferry to Wexford for £76 instead.

Ah the art of Stacker Steadman, one of my recently retired colleagues worked with him when he spent a few years in the far north

Nigel used to use the photo as an instructional aide.

Apparantly the city at the western end of Brunel's main line used to be called Bristo until the early Anglo-Saxon period, when the Bristolians arrived and settled there.

Pronounced 'Bistro' in Clifton.

Fortunately the dyed lint grass on the  embankment has cushioned everything nicely.

Obviously we're all very excited by the main event on Sunday (CK delivering the pasties) but are there any thoughts about Saturday (WSR) and an evening get together? I'm hoping to have the same pudding I had two years ago...

I'm likely to be accompanied by the Memsahib for the weekend. Therefore, I should be spared the after effects of Saturdays 'pudding' as witnessed on Sunday morning..........

It wasn't my fault, @Mark Forrest made me drink the Plastered Pheasant. I was happy with coke.
