May can be such a variable month, weather-wise. As I type this, I'm questioning whether I should put the heating back on again. Though outdoor activities are quite feasible, with the weather announced for this weekend, it's looking pretty grim! Time for a little modelling, a read of the latest issue of BRM and a watch of the new episode of BRM TV, perhaps?

The digital edition of BRM June 2021 with BRM TV is available to purchase now from www.pocketmags.com/BRM, or pick up a copy of BRM in stores from May 20.

Remember, for printed copy holders, you need to be a BRM subscriber to watch BRM TV, or simply get a copy of the digital version with 45 extra images, six bonus videos and five additional articles!

In this episode of BRM TV, we feature the coastal ‘Sandy Shores’ in OO9, share how to glaze awkward windows, provide assembly advice for a laser-cut shed kit and share bonus footage of a OO gauge layout acquisition.

Really enjoyed the layouts in this one. And all the photos again taken by the layout owners themselves. I'm sure Andy can spot issues (e.g. lighting), but I'm still impressed with how good "home photography" can be these days. Inspirational.

Hi I've just tried getting a digital copy off pocket mags and not received a copy. This has worked with previous digital versions. Is there a contact number that I can speak to anyone on this . Thanks David West

Isn't Llanidris a wonderful scene and nicely snapped?

A very enjoyable edition of the magazine: lots to read and reread, thank you.
I especially enjoyed this month’s BRM TV.  “Sandy Shores” is a fascinating and ingenious layout well worth another look, and I really liked the piece with @AY Mod sitting at his new desk and describing his next layout project.  Home layouts in particular often have unique or individual origins that can (of necessity) get summarised very briefly in finished layout articles.  I thought it was a great idea to spend a bit of time talking through the initial stages, explaining how the sub-frames have been sourced and built, and how the layout plan may develop around the sections being acquired as it all progresses.

Just watched this. Good to know that a part of Barmouth Jct will live on like this, in a different form. Nice baseboards too. Andy, what did you do to get that kind of service from your timber merchant! :O

If you don't ask you don't get to find out what they can do! :biggrin_mini2:

And a cup of tea.
