I actually prefer live chassis, it means you only have to install wipers on one side.  The tricky thing is trying to keep uninsulated wheels on the correct side since it is hard to tell.

Hi, a quick update.  I can't get any 21mm 16 spoke Romford/Markits wheels anywhere, so progress stymied for the mo'.  In desperation, I've ordered a set on you know where, with a broken crankpin in one wheel.  Any suggestions on removal would be appreciated.  In the meantime I've ordered another chassis and will keep myself busy with that.

I've ordered the items that you suggested Brossard, thank you very much.

Hopefully it's just the pin that's sheared off and remove as usual with Romford's/Markits' screwdriver.

There is always Alan Gibson who also do the MR wheels.

 

I must admit I prefer Markits due to the easy quartering.
