RMweb Gold TravisM Posted May 22, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 22, 2021 I hope someone can help but I’ve recently purchased a Jouef 141R in reasonable condition and price, but I can’t get away the “pizza” cutter flanges. Does anyone know if replacement wheels are available so the model can be brought up to more modern standards? Also, is there anywhere for decals to renumber the loco and tender? I’m looking to turn it into from pigs ear into a silk purse
sncf231e
Jouef parts are not available (see the website http://lestrainsjouef.free.fr/fr/parts/sparepart.html and http://lestrainsjouef.free.fr/fr/parts/part_mot_JF.html while using Google translate). I assume you have a 141R with non-blackened wheels. It might help to blacken these. The difference can be seen in a video I made on H0 141R locomotive models: For decals see: https://www.latelierdutrain.com/20643-decalcomanie and https://www.avalanchedetrains.com/32-decalcomanies Regards Fred
RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted June 21, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 21, 2021 Might be worth writing to Eric Seibel at Mechanic Trains. He does not do e-mail or internet but does have a webpage which lists three people who stock his products.
