The Father's Day Gift That Says It All.....

Recommended Posts

For one nasty moment I thought this might be about that legendary Flying Scotsman Clock :scared:

Still not sure if this is much better, to be honest.... :scratchhead:

As it's the wrong scale, Era, and even the wrong Country for my modelling it would be very far from 'the perfect gift' for me anyway. :jester:

Fortunately, neither of my daughters have a clue. So I needn’t fear receiving this. Dodged a bullet there!

I live in dread of some kind descendant presenting me with one of these or a Hornby version. On the other hand, each year I buy a Hornby Christmas wagon, an equally awful thing. The Christmas wagon is rather jolly and Hornby hit home by pointing out that the train looks nice orbiting a Christmas tree. Over the years, I have learnt to live with inconsistency. :dontknow:

If one of my kids gave me this or the Hornby one they would be up for adoption :)
