Keithg
Can You Help Me Please Once I decided to build a 0 Gauge layout I but quickly found out the limit of PECO Points and their radius was not what I required so I turned to an alternative product. This resulted in building or purchasing point work. This also meant that a method of point control had to be found and I went for the PECO SmartSwitch system built by ANE mode in the USA. Fellow users will know about the system and how you can configure the software. They will also know there are three main components, a Servo programming Board, a ten pin ribbon cable which connects to the, Control Board which supplies data used by the servo. My request to you all is for help regarding the ten pin cable connection. This should be a very simple connection, with a push fit, but I cannot keep the ribbon cable firmly in its place in to the Control Board. This cable gives you the flexibility to move around your layout be it under or over. I like the product but sadly I get annoyed with the continue brake down whilst programming the servo. So have you found a way round this problem....please help!! Keith Gowen
RexAshton
I've used this system for a while with no problems. I haven't encountered your problem but the ribbon cable does need to be pushed firmly into the socket ensuring that it fully engaged.
