This 47 has gained a TOPS number, but gives you the idea...

Thanks Patrick and Fran.

No excuses now. Will have to get a rake and do some renumbering.

Hi everyone,

How about a bit of Class 59 action as something different?

RRT86-15

Cheers!

Fran

If Accurascale move at medium pace and produce their own 59, you should still beat Dapol to deliver the goods!

Only funny because it’s true.

I’m looking forward to the CDA’s Fran.

Browsing a well known Flickr account these 2 variations caught my eye. I’m fairly sure I saw the EWS variant only once but I’ve never seen a coalfish that looked like that. Was it just a one off prototype?

(I did try to add these images with a link to the original site but for reasons unknown I was unable to.)

I notice the wagons in that video were opened manually. Was that normal? Wasn't there any automatic door opening equipment at Ironbridge?

Paul.

It said in the bit I watched that it was so they could be opened in the right place.

One from yesterday, fancy a blue 66 on your Coalfish?

Bristol Blue:

Bristol Blue

No not the glass! DB's Maritime blue livery 66047 'Maritime Intermodal Two' sits in Westbury Down Yard with 40 empty Coalfish in tow, ready to go as 6W50 to Bristol West Junction. This was just one of many trains involved in the relaying work at Bristol East.

Picture linked from Flickr if you want to see it big and count the little fishies!

Once again keeping with the Accurascale theme, this was sent on by a friend. Anyone need a 92 or 5??

You need a second batch with more running numbers first.... :wink_mini:

That really is a cracker though!

If that lot drew power all at the same time the whole countries lights would dim !

The 92 in the background was awaiting a wheel skate IIRC.

00 gauge class 58's could do with some love.......Hint Hint :P

It always struck me that 58s were a bit forgotten or unloved by enthusiasts compared to other classes. I wonder why that was. I always liked them, mind you I've only seen a couple at work! I guess they're not as noisy as a 56.
