Woodhead always comes to mind with MGR hoppers and electric traction... But of course, there was the period of dyson haulage! Luckily we're doing those... Cheers! Paul Oh I know what they are, but for me they only come in Bauxite with maybe a splash of red on one or two, a bit like my vans. I'm just totting up whatever else Accurascale might venture into as they seek to become King Coal.

RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted June 17, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 17, 2021 Hi everyone, So, we've had steam and electric, but the MGR hoppers will always be synonymous with diesel power. Funny that @Porcy Mane brought up 58s, for it was receiving the "Midnight Freight" train set as a lad that gave me my very first HAA hopper model and confirmed it as one of my all time favourite wagons. Of course where would coal trains be without Class 47/3s A beacon of light! And of course the early years of MGRs... Pairs of choppers always made for a fine sight, too! Or a single.. 37s naturally... Accuratrain! Bone idols... A bit of 24 action! Whistlin' along Double dutch! Peak Practice Gronk fun! Who doesnt like a nice tug? And of course, since all the chatter and requests are around 56s at the moment, the National Grid needs Grid Power!! Cheers! Fran
Growling
I'm thinking my largest Fiddle Yard siding can 'just about' accommodate this. 46 of the rebodied required at some stage Fran! (Oh and the 3 x 37 would be nice too!). Complete with an ill health smoking box and badly applied large logo numbers for 145 please! The only thing better - a 37 on a loose coupled train of minerals... 4
