drduncan Posted June 17, 2021 Share Posted June 17, 2021 Dear all, I’m scratch building a couple of S7 bar sided fish wagons. I’m happy with the livery colour (red pre 1904, grey post) but the bar sides are leaving wondering about the lettering. The doors (two per side) might be a good bet for the post 04 G W with number and tare etc on the solebars, or it might be all on the solebars like a Mite single bolster - but I can’t find a photo... As for the GWR red livery lettering I don’t have a clue as to what might have been done - bar sided wagons being a rarity in the GW - again it might have all been in the solebars but who knows ?
