Michael Hodgson Posted June 20, 2021 Share Posted June 20, 2021 Current colours https://lever-frame.co.uk/index.php/lever-colours I think the GC were pretty much standard, but see the thread below, but some companies did vary as to the colour of unusual items like gongs. Standard hasn't changed much over the years but distant levers would have been green until the 1920s when both distant arms and levers became yellow. Here's Loughborough, on the preserved GCR (not the original GC arrangement there of course). The Red over Yellow, lever 49 in the foreground means the lever works a stop signal and also operates a distant, but it would not have been like that in GC days.
