45669
Evening All, BRITISH INDIA LINE was out and about again yesterday working a special train to commemorate the end of Southern steam 54 years ago on the 9th July, 1967. It went from London to Weymouth via Yeovil and I videoed it at Winchfield on the down run in the morning and again at Fleet on the return trip in the evening. Hope it's of interest. Peter Kazmierczak
It's always good to see motive power back on their old haunts. Here's 35018 returning to London as it crosses Holes Bay, Poole, with yesterday's train. It could almost be 1966 when the England football last won a competition. Good omen for tomorrow?
