Quite a few gone before arriving in Felixstowe but still plenty left.

Finally !!

There's probably nothing of model railway interest on board after all of this!!

Al.

So you haven't been following other Dapol threads then?

Has now left Felixstowe and currently stationery in the North Sea at 'the sunk'. Several vessel sites say it is bound for Suez!!

Ever Given left Felixstowe at about 0400

It's place at the wharf has been taken by MS Gaia.

Another ship of the same class as Ever Given, the OOCL Indonesia is due in Felixstowe tomorrow but currently waiting at the sunk, is shown as having travelled from Suez.

Suez seems to be a holding point, presumably to wait passage through the canal.

It, like Ever Given, originated in China.

So should we expect news from Dapol in the next few days?

Suggestion elsewhere that customs is anything from 1 to 3 weeks now, plus travel and potentially checking them, in this instance.

Suez has both berthing and provides an anchorage area for ships which are waiting northbound passage through the canal.   Presumably Ever Given is headed here and will receive further orders once it has cleared the canal?

As for clearing cargo at Felixstowe I doubt anything will be in consignee's hands for a couple of weeks and possibly longer, especially if it is groupage traffic.

I assume General Average needs to be collected before release too.
