Hornby BR livery B12 detail bag: anybody know where one can be had?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I recently acquired a second hand super detailed Hornby B12 in early BR livery, which was missing its detail bag. Does anybody know where I can find one?

Heres a photo, the engine will get its own thread here soon as I’m upgrading it a bit.

Thanks,

Douglas

Peters Spares have them. But be aware the postage will probably be a lot.

Try eBay.

I'm wondering whether it's quite worth it just for a few bits. Maybe someone on here has a spare they don't want?

Thanks Jason, I’ll look into that.

If possible, find out if you can (via the web) what the contents of the detail pack actually consist of; depending on what they are, you may find it possible to scratch build/source the items yourself.

in the photo in the link I posted.

Not much really. Brake rods, pipes, end stanchions and a front coupling.
