RMweb Premium Newbie2020 Posted July 10, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 10, 2021 Hi - Advice required! I have 2 Hornby 6 wheel coaches which look really great behind my Bachmann C Class loco. The problem is the coaches keep derailing on the bends. I have 2nd and 3rd radius curves. Is there any adjustment I can make to sort this? If it is a tight fit, they are correctly gauged. Or you could use a caliper gauge to measure the distance between the backs of the wheel treads. It should measure 14.5mm in OO Gauge. Terry Cheers Terry, I have callipers and they are between 14 and 14.5 mm

How about a pic of the underframe? John
GWR-fan
Perhaps check for buffer lock between the tender and the coach.
RMweb Premium Newbie2020 Posted July 12, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted July 12, 2021 Thanks everyone, sorry for late reply but had a busy weekend! Some Gaugemaster oil on the centre wheel axle seems to have done the trick. B2B Gauge on order! Cheers Clive
