LWMRSNews
Leamington & Warwick Model Railway Society celebrate the return of model railway exhibitions by launching a special wagon project raising funds in support of their local Myton Hospices group based in Warwick. During lockdown the N Gauge group of the club decided to support the fund raising efforts of a member, in memory of his wife, by financing the manufacture of the limited edition wagon in both N and OO scales from Dapol. The wagon project will be launched at ‘The International N Gauge Show’ at the Warwickshire Event Centre on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th September 2021. Wagons will also be available for collection from the club stand at the ‘Great British Model Railway Show’ on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st October 2021 at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon and also on the club stand at Warley. To secure a wagon in advance, for collection at one of these shows, please email your requirements to myton-wagon@lwmrs.co.uk. Please note that exhibition dates quoted and our participation are subject to changes of government COVID-19 restrictions and wagons are subject to stock availability. The design image is intended to provide an indication of colour and the wagon side lettering only. www.lwmrs.co.uk events@lwmrs.co.uk 1
LNER4479
A last minute 'bump' for this show, taking place this coming weekend. I've just posted the following on a related thread: As well as our Swiss-themed layout from the GMRC competition, it turns out that Gaydon will be the exhibition debut of our rebuilt GMRC final layout 'All the Fun of the Fair'. Looking forward to being part of the show (not been to Gaydon before so really looking forward to it).
RMweb Premium ELTEL Posted October 27, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 27, 2021 A good bump would be for someone from the organisational team to post here all the layouts and traders attending. Terry

RMweb Premium ELTEL Posted October 27, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 27, 2021 Yes after delving on different websites I eventually found the exhibition information. But I shouldn’t have too, it should be all here for all to see. I hope the exhibition goes well as it’s a good selection of layouts. Terry
dasatcopthorne
Yes. Villefranche from the Carshalton & Sutton MRC will be there.

RMweb Premium 7013 Posted October 30, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 30, 2021 It was a good show, but the trader/layout ratio was a bit heavily weighted in favour of traders ( my opinion only ). Enjoyable all the same.

Jeremy Davison
Thanks to Paul and his team for organising the exhibition. Great Endon is back in my garage after a very wet trip back to Lancashire. We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition and were so pleased that you made it happen, given the circumstances. Cheers Jeremy 4
