T0ny
I aplologise if this is found elsewhere, but I can't find it. I have an old, used N-scale MRC/Mehano Alco RSD15 that badly needs its motor lubricating but I can't remove the body shell. Usually I just pull the body shell off after maybe pushing a couple of fixing tabs. This one refuses to budge. There are a couple of screws under the motor weight but loosening them doesn't seem to make a difference. I am reluctant to use too much force in case of damage. I have tried suggestions of using the box to support and drop it by gravity. Does anyone have any knowledge of how to go about it?
T0ny
OK. I used an old craft knife blade, ran it along the join between the body shell and the chassis and eventually it came free. Onwards and upwards.
