4mm ivatt push pull castings?

I would like to model the local ivatt which was push pull fitted. I am hoping to convert my new Bachmann model. Does anyone do a set of castings for ivatt push pull equipment?

Alan Gibson do them. The type used by the LMS and LNER. I got one a few years ago for a Jinty.

 

4M757 I think. But it might be worth dropping an email to make sure they are the correct type.

Somebody (sorry can't remember who, but it was donkeys years ago) used to produce white metal castings for LMS push pull ends, made converting the old Farish OO coaches easy.  Don't know about the loco fittings though.

Bachmann did actually produce a push-pull version of the 2MT, back in the old split frame days. Though I don't think that it is currently available with the newer updated chassis.

They still do - I bought some a couple of years back at a show - Derby, Loughborough or Stafford, to narrow it down - must get round to using them on a Dapol Stanier kit - that's if I can find them!!

If you want LMS Pull/Push coach ends try Comet. They also do the coaches.

And yes, it's Pull/Push on the LMS with the coaches calling driving trailers or motors.

Careful using the Dapol/Airfix coaches without surgery as they are mainline inter district lavatory stock. None of which were altered to P/P. The main difference apart from the end is the toilet compartments.

IIRC the Alan Gibson push-pull gear isn't appropriate for the Ivatt tank.

Thanks for the replies chaps, funnily enough I was round at my friends house last night. His workshop is commonly referred to as Barry Island as he has boxes of castings & parts. I was saying I wanted to do the worth valley push pull ivatt. Well I ended up with a almost finished em gauge Bachmann push pull ivatt on a comet chassis so what was an ask for a casting resulted in a full loco. That's the longer term project at the moment as I have stock to convert for the layout firstly plus I need to make the coach for it too.
