Nickt
My apologies if this question has been asked before but I couldn't spot it. It appears that Bachmann AND Dapol AND Accurascale will all shortly release a variety of Manors. You wait years and then 3 come along at once! I'd welcome the views of the wise people on here as to which manufacturer is likely to produce the best version, in terms of running and accuracy. Looking forward to the replies.

Steamport Southport
I don't think Bachmann are making a new version. if they were that would be the answer. I'm afraid the Bachmann version was a slightly revamped Mainline model from the late 1970s and I don't think it has been available for a few years. As for the other two. Whilst Accurascale have a better reputation for accuracy I don't think they have made a model of a steam locomotive yet. So we can't really comment on how well they run. Dapol are usually fine, but occasionally have avoidable howlers such as livery and detail mistakes. Wait and see is the advice that I would give. I doubt they will sell out before they are released as quite a few will be waiting to see what we get. I know I am. Jason 1
