We all always need a larger fiddle yard

Totally agree, When I had Kings Moreton I had 5 Roads each way plus 3 Bi Directional Roads, and then added another 8 dead end roads to cater for all the freight, Parcels and Passenger Traffic.

I'm very limited for width  mainly due to the Guitars and using the room to practice in, and length due to the crossover I need and the narrow bit over the Work bench.

I will need to re look at that side of The POD.

Thanks Andrew, I do like Oil / Fuel Tanks, so another nice working, looks like I'll need a bigger Fiddle Yard.

The oil was the traffic that came and went and came back.  originally it was Petroleum Sector train then it went on Speedlink then it went road borne  when Speedlink closed but it returned as a trip of a couple of wagons worked I'm not quite sure who (probably cross-hired traction) then it came back asa regular train in EWS days.

When we closed the Speedlink service a question was asked at the consiultation meeting about how the Newlyn trawler fuel would be dealt with?  My boss looked at me. (I was WR feight Train Planning Manager at the time) and I looked at him (he was the WR Operations Planning Manager) and I was sent off to make enquiries.  I managed to get hold of the rep I knew in the Petroleum sector and he was just as puzzled as the rest of us so he had a look back through some files and found out that it had ceased to pass by rail years earlier.  Apparently the staff reps at Penzance hadn't noticed that it had ceased ;)

This morning I've made a start on the Bridge over the Estuary, I used 2 Wills Kits, a single Track and a double Track as I needed the extra Railings for the top, and the extra walling for underneath.

First I found some Plastruct in my scrap box.IMG_5846.JPG.961d628d5314fbc65caa127ca91953e5.JPG

I then put a support along the back of the 3 bits of walling and to give it a bit of an angle when fitted.

Nice bridge I don’t know what you intend for the embankment to the left but I would install two or three culverts within the embankment would make a nice scenic addition :D

Thanks Martin, no as it will have water either side like this.

Looks really good Andy, can’t wait till you have your 1970’s & 1980’s running eras, with all those bogcarts and “bubbles” :good:

Best regards

Craig

Sorry Craig, I've gone Word blind, what did you say? You want MORE Freight.

You might, just might, see a Skateboard if I can find one at a not inflated price in the correct Livery.
