Class 03 High Level chassis

I am just putting one of these together. excellent kit. 

I have made up the steps and bent down the tabs for hook and bar couplings, see circled below.

However these tabs prevent the chassis dropping in. The chassis has to go under the tabs, and of course you can slot in one end, but then the other end can't pass the other tab.

What have I done wrong or how do I get round this?

Can you file the rear chassis/ web spacer (part 28) back allowing you to slide the front of the chassis in and drop the rear end in? It looks like it might clear. I'm building one in S4 but I'm not using tension lock couplings.

Thanks yes. I found that a little judicious filing means the chassis just drops in.

Tight fit though.
