I may have got the term flock wrong - I'm meaning the green sawdust stuff basically. Close up, I'm guessing the green sawdust doesn't look amazing but from a bit further back, is it okay? Cheers! RMweb Premium boxbrownie Posted September 16, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 16, 2021 I have literally only just over the past week layed my first static grass, and I think it went quite well….better than I expected TBH. I used a 3mm and a 7mm length (some German stuff my Son bought years ago and never used) and also the sheep field I used Woodland Scenics scatter, which I imagine is what your referring to with “sawdust” but in actual fact I feel the scatter looks more realistic being nearer scale to my eyes and more random. The static grass will need a bit more “grooming” or adding to to break up the very neat and regular finish I feel. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
