Using wash on concrete sleepers

Hi can I ask what colour wash should I use on my concrete sleepers, as I'm using Peco SL-102 track with concrete-sleepers.

This might not be that helpful, as it's not sleepers - but whenever I model concrete / cement I go with Beige, followed by several washes of Earth Brown - Revel Brand Acrylic.  I find that concrete is rarely "grey" once it's a few years old, I would imagine concrete sleepers would perhaps require a more rusty brown finish.

I normally find a mix of brown and grey (or black and white) looks best.  Track is rarely a single colour so a bit of variation looks fine. I have not tried it on concrete sleepers but here is how it looks on my N Gauge wood sleeper.
