RMweb Gold big jim Posted October 12, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 12, 2021 If I’ve got a pair of 66s on the RHTT I flick out the isolation switch on the lead loco so the rear one does all the work and you can sit in the quiet(ish) with your loco just idling 1 1

Charlotte and Stella working hard.... Nice intermediate dirt pattern up the cab front outer edges and a relatively clean central front section. St. Simon
Hi, You wait for one to come along and you get two instead: A pair of MPVs at Fareham yesterday, both must have been on a Eastleigh to Portsmouth circuit as I saw both of them twice in the hour and a half I was there. Simon One is the Bournemouth circuit which covers Botley & Netley too originating at Totton Yard and the other is the Salisbury & Warminster circuit 3S80 originating at Effingham. Andy G I think it's because they aren't used much except during RHTT season so suffer from standing around. 37216 is back out playing but 57003 has gone down with leaf flu. Just a heads-up... One of these 2 loco's has been swapped out, the replacement is named, it was too dark to read it but I think it may have been 66303 'Rail Riders'. Cheers, Phil. 1

It would appear that both 66303 and 66304 have joined the RHTT party at York, and the pair should be working 3S11-3S14 today.
