Marcway pointwork query

I'm using Marcway trackwork on my new layout. I could use advice on wiring for DCC. For example do I need to make the frog live ! Help most appreciated.

I use Marcway 00 gauge pointwork, with SMP track.

 

Yes the frogs on the points are live and I wire them to a micro switch on the point motor to change polarity.   Works really well, and never had any running problems.  I also do not rely on the point blades to feed current to the various routes, I wire separate feeds to achieve this.  The use of insulated rail joiners avoids any short circuits.
