jhock
Thought you guys might like to see my latest creation: It is Herpa Mack truck that was orginaly a sleeper, I removed the sleeper so I could make use of the longer chassis. Still needs painting. The other bits are styrene strip and bits raided from my bits box.
AndrewC
Very nice. Now it just needs some logs and a station wagon wedged underneath.
jhock
The finished item:
Adrian Wintle
Very nice, but it looks way too clean... Logging trucks tend to be very dirty (earth and bits of wood from the logs, mud and dirt from the roads) and rusty (particularly the trailer, because the paint gets rubbed off or scratched). At least, the ones I've seen in the Pacific Northwest and in the Northeast have all been dirty, and the ones in the Northeast operate in an environment that gets winter salt so they will rust quite easily.
