Much easier than Warley, having the car right outside the entrance definitely was an encouragement.

here is my days loot, you might think my stash is large, but there was definitely some bigger dogs than I in the room, one guy brought his his whole family to do some heavy lifting..

I also picked up a couple of class 90’s for someone else.

The prize for me was the SWT class 450.. i’d just about given up on getting an unweathered one… and I actually bagged two (there was a third I left behind, I just couldn't justify it). Ive stocked up on a few class 90’s for resprays and a few items in this list mean I may have a shuffle about of one or two previously bought locos as ive filled a few gaps here…

Yeah, noticed there was a lot of subliminal temptation yesterday. Then the 78xxx spoiled the party, I do like that loco though.

Was there much N scale on the stall?

The tent was arranged in a rectangle, oo steam one side, oo diesel the other. At the entrance was the n gauge selection along the wall, plu thomas, and by the checkouts was coaches/ efe.

Here is the tent, next to the Tin Beer Hut, and with D1705 open for cab visits, and D8098 had its panels open to view the engine compartment.

after the checkouts was collectors club stand, and in the display cabinets was an n and a oo display. The n display had a class 319 sample on display, I just wish it was oo… in the oo cabinet the large logo blue 47/7 broke cover, as did D213 amongst others.

can’t resist this cheeky picture…

after Back to the future part 3, you’d think a Delorean would be afraid of trains…

That sounds awful like “if you thought I was drunk, you should have seen how bad the others were…”. Never worked for me then and I have no doubt wouldn’t work for me now. Nice haul though . Wish I lived closer and could have joined in…

Crikey, do you not have a wife and kids and house to pay for like the rest of us!? Lol, nice haul though. Hopefully they do it at Ally Pally, wouldn't mind another NSE HAP.

I think you're right about those two greens although to me in that photo the Bachmann version looks a bit too yellow - only a tad and still acceptable.   The green on the cab front of 6990 looks too blue in that photo although that might be due to the way it has weathered (being generous about it),  or is it on the wrong undercoat to get the correct shade from the top coat?

From what I can see this looked a good day out, with good discounts available too.

Having not been to one before and not having seen anything to suggest what the range and discounts would be I didn't want to risk the 250 mile round trip but I might next year. Assuming I can get fuel for the car by then
