lapford34102
Hi, Can any Pannier experts confirm thgat BR Panniers were overhauled at Eastleigh. My late father told me that 7780 + 82 were shopped there and I'm sure I've seen a picture of one in the shops there. Grateful for any info. lapford34102
Belatedly realised I could answer my own question by having a trawl through brdatabase. Found about 10 so far from early 60's, either Southern shedded locos or south Wales. Thanks to all Stu
slilley
The National Archives at Kew has a large quantity of Eastleigh works records, the weekly returns, fromthe mid 50s through to some dates in 1965. Always worth a trawl through to get in and out dates.
