RogerHarrold
Hello, new to the forum. We all know about the famous slate-built water tower at Dolgoch station. As trains grew in length it became necessary to build a new one a few yards up the line. Now, this is not a criticism but a question; does anyone know why this has been left as a rather temporary-looking structure, a bit ugly, rather than replicating the original slate tower? It spoils the look of an otherwise delightful station.
RMweb Premium Keith Addenbrooke Posted October 4, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 4, 2021 Hi Roger, I wonder if it might be more visible if this were to be posted ‘next door’ in the ‘Narrow Gauge Prototype’ part of the Forum? I’m afraid I can’t answer the question, sorry, but welcome to RMweb, Keith.
