Popular Post Timber
Sharing pictures from a collection of Brecon and Merthyr Locomotives I am building. They are built in S Scale. More detail in the S Scale section of RMWeb but thought I would post a few pictures here to help promote interest in S Scale. First up is a model of WYE....based on the Sharp Stewart small 2-4-0 passenger locomotive. Edited July 22, 2022 by Timber 12

RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted October 10, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 10, 2021 Very nice. You could also put a mention in the Railways of Wales section. Wye of course of great interest to me as one of the locos which got mixed up in the mess caused by Savin. Jonathan

Timber
Rather than replicate the same model for Number 12 Glanseven, I applied some artistic licence and took a guess at what the engine may have looked like in war time black with a cab and engine brakes fitted. Other than it was made to the same design as Number 11 Wynnstay; to the best of my knowledge no photos exist so maybe my cameo may be OK. The cab design i took from other Sharp Stewarts at that time. Timber
Another engine in war time black Class 9 number 25. Not sure that the Class 9s ever carried a black livery and if they did I am not sure that anyone would have spent too much time polishing the dome...but I like it. RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted March 6, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 6, 2022 Is there a layout for them to run on? B&M layouts are not exactly plentiful. Jonathan
