Freightliner guards in coaches?

It did, and the condensation from it was one of the reasons for it's early withdrawal.  It got mouldy in there very quickly.

6  LMS 57' BSK  (1 D1905, 4 D1968, 1 D2123)

1  LMS 57' BS.  (D1964A)

1  SR  BSK. (S4251S)

 

There are photos showing them on the rear of trains as well as the front, I think they were coupled to one end of the flats and not swapped round at the terminals.

I'm sure there is a list of numbers somewhere, maybe on here but if not iv seen them in a book. Possibly the life and times of freightliner?

 

Funnily enough, I was just thinking this evening I have a suburban brake somewhere to be painted grey to go with my flats, think it's time to dig it out and let my guard ride in that rather than the caboose.
