RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 17, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 17, 2021 Does anyone produce a range of etched street names (eg. 'Station Road', 'High Street' etc.) in a 'period' style, to represent the old cast signs that were used in some places, please? I have been looking but haven't unearthed anything yet. Many thanks. RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted October 17, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 17, 2021 These are printed not etched but maybe do the job? https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/s001-oo-street-name-signs-oo4mm176-891-p.asp
Nick Holliday
Langleys do various etchings for their vacuum formed buildings, and several of them have three or four street names included. The website pictures are poor, so you can't read what you might be getting, and it is an expensive way to get them. Perhaps an appeal for unused ones might get a result.
Nick Holliday
I found this link from a similar query in 2011 - http://247developments.co.uk/street_names.html Not sure which July it refers to, or whether anything has actually happened. @mozzer models may be able to comment.

doilum
For Houghton Street I commissioned the name plates from Severn mill nameplates who have made all my industrial locomotive plates.

Apologies to Severn Mill who have made the superb plates for St Frusquin and Wild Swan and will be my first choice for Seagull in the near future.
