sir douglas
hi, ive got these bogie sides in a collection of bits from the estate of a late friend years ago, and would like to know what they were supposed to be for? i only know that they were mdae by him as he did various castings and the masters are still with them in the packet, i havent got any clues about scale or era as he did various. the wheelbase looks to be somewhere between 31mm and 31.5mm Edited October 24, 2021 by sir douglas
RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted October 24, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 24, 2021 Can you please photograph one, the other way up, and what is the measurement for the bolster? That's the part with the hole.

That's the part with the hole. Putting it together gives 22mm between the bogie sides but regardless of this it could either be for OO, EM, or O16.5, i should retract the gauge part of my question, that was my fault, it completely slipped my mind that the bolster gives the gauge.. ish Edited October 24, 2021 by sir douglas
Mol_PMB
Festiniog Railway coach bogies, of the type fitted to most corridor stock. O-16.5 scale, presumably.
